ACCIDENT REPORTS These reports were pulled from the NSTB final accident report database. Click on the link in the report number column to pull the report and click on the link under the probable cause column to pull the conclusions reached by the investigators. The accident reports contain complete data about the investigation including a description of the accident, witness reports, description of the scene, mechanical and structural investigations, pilot interviews, weather, medical, pilot certification and pilot experience. The report does not include any conclusions. The probable cause reports are much shorter and contain a summary of the accident information including a short description and the final conclusions as to what caused the accident. There were over two hundred accidents in the database. I stopped including reports after the late 80’s because the reports contained little useful information after the early 90’s. If you have the urge you can go directly to the NSTB database and pull the rest at your leisure.
