Parachutes
are required for aerobatics per the FAR’s. The
chutes need to be serviced and repacked every 120 days. More rules about
parachutes in the rules section.
Documentation of the last repack date must be kept with the chutes, check
that you are legal to go. There may
be times when the chutes are away for repack in which case we may leave a
couple of our personal chutes with the plane temporarily. To avoid
disappointment email
us to see if the chutes are out being repacked. You
are welcome to use your own chute if you have one. It’s probably a good idea
to get one if you intend to do a lot of aerobatics. |
